When I'm in Yahoo and ONLY in Yahoo I get this box that pops up each time I change screens. It says ';Microsoft Internet Explorer - Your current security settings prohibit running Active X controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly'; then it makes me click ok to go to the next screen. How do I change my security settings on my computer?
On IE go Tools-%26gt;Internet Options-%26gt;Security Tab-%26gt;Click the Trusted sites icon and then the Sites button. Enter www.yahoo.com here. How do I change my security settings on my computer?
i dont konw but you can ask some one else
If you get a bar along the top of the browser window with text in it that mentions the ActiveX then right click on the bar while it is visible. Follow the steps to install the ActiveX control for the page. That should keep it from reappearing in the future.
i would do the last two answers and hope it works.
open your browser
click tools
internet options
scurity tab
then custom level
scroll down till you see active x things and set them to prompt
except fot unsigned ones disable that one
Go to the preference setting of the Explorer and lower the security setting then the message will not appear again.

PS3 Display settings?
I have a Panasonic 32'; 720p LCD HDTV and the graphics are very blurry (especially when im playing a game) with my PS3. I am using an HDMI Cable. Can anyone tell me how should I adjust my Display Settings. What should I change them too? Atm my Cross Color Reduction Filter is Off. RGB Full Range (HDMI) is set to Full. Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super-white (HDMI) is On. What should I change my Video Output Settings to?PS3 Display settings?
I would turn the Super-White off unless you are 100 % positive your TV makes use of it and will improve the picture quality. I have mine at off.
I don't believe any of the Video Settings affect the picture quality in a game, but I have just about everything on Automatic.

How to restore default display settings in XP? I changed resolution, colors, but font is still goofy. Help pls!
There is no 'default'. What monitor do you have(size/brand/mondel)? If you push the buttons on the front of your monitor and go to info, it should display the native resolution for your monitor(unless you have a laptop).
How do I change my external monitor display so it doesn't look stretched using a desktop computer?
I successfully hooked my Dell 'laptop' up to my Samsung LN-S3251D flat screen TV. When i first plugged it in i knew i had to press ';Fn+F8'; (CRT/LCD) to get it to not looked stretched, and it worked.
I'm having a problem with changing these settings on my brothers 'desktop' computer using the same exact TV, i have it hooked up correctly and it looks how my laptop display looked before i used the CRT/LCD button. I've changed the Screen refresh rate from 75 to 60 hertz and it just looks worse. There are no function keys on a desktop so how can i get this to work properly? How do I change my external monitor display so it doesn't look stretched using a desktop computer?
that's happened to me heres the direction if u have vista 7 (ithink...prettysure) and just go to ur desktop screen then right click and go to properties/personalize and then go to display settings and u should see two boxes; one big one small and one box has '1' on it and the other has '2' on it. below that u should see a bar that says :
Resolution:
Low---l---l---l---l--l---l---l---High
there should be a thing you can slide and the lowest is like streatched and highest is rlly fine and sharp sooo hope this helps just put it to one of the highest places u can
sorry if it doesnt help):

How do i Change my 360 profile settings?
When i first decided to set up a Y!A account, i didn't really expect to stay joined for long so i just put in any name and age, and made up where i live and stuff
But now, since i plan to keep my account, i want to set up a proper 360 profile- how do i change these settings so the correct details are displayed?
ThanksHow do i Change my 360 profile settings?
- Sign into your 360 space. Click the ';Yahoo 360 Home'; link on the upper right of the 360 main page (http://360.yahoo.com ) to enter it.
- Click the ';Settings'; link in the upper right of your space
- There are 4 settings pages. The first that you see is the Basic Info Settings page. Go through each section changing what you like and make sure to adjust the permissions on the right of each section. See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/per鈥?/a> for more about permissions.
- Click the ';Save and Continue'; button at the bottom to get to the next set of ';settings'; pages.
NOTE: The page will not save if you have not filled out sections marked with a red asterisk properly. You have to put something in the first %26amp; last name fields. You may only be able to put the birth date or age in the ';Age'; section, not both.
The information shown automatically is what you provided to Yahoo upon setting up your Yahoo account.
Make sure to check how other people view your page by clicking on the drop down menu ';Preview as seen by'; at the top right of your 360 ';My Page';. Choose a permission group and click the ';Go'; button.

UPDATE: When you're ready, you can display a link to your 360 in your Y/A profile, by clicking ';My Profile'; to the upper right of this Yahoo! Answers page, then clicking ';Edit My Info'; in the top left box on the Answers profile page. Scroll down to the Privacy section and check the option of showing the link to your 360 page.
