How do i change the display settings on my xbox without being able to see them ?

I accidentally changed my xbox display setting to 1080p and now when i try to turn it on my tv says that the mode is not supported and i cant figure out how to change them, help please :)?



funnily enough my xbox was only on for 5 minutes before this happened as i just got my replacement from microsoft as i got the RROD on my old one.

1. With the console off, press and hold the sync up button (the small white one)

2. While holding the sync button press the power button to turn on the console

3. Continue to hold the sync button until the Console has booted up completely.

4. During the boot process the console should clear any failed updates, allowing you to use it normally.

You can connect with the regular RCA video(Yellow ) and switch back to SD. Then you will be able to change your video settings to match your TV.How do i change the display settings on my xbox without being able to see them ?
try connection it through the normal scart lead insted of the hd cable, just an idea...
Connect using the yellow plug. Then on the 360 end of the video cable, there should be switch that goes from HD to SD. Switch it to SD.
