How do I change the display font size on windows xp? ?

I had to reinstall windows xp today and for some reason my display font is all weird now. I've tried going to properties %26gt; settings %26gt; screen resolution. But the problem is that everything's stretched sideways and I can't get it back to the way it used to be. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's starting to really hurt my eyes. Thanks. Sounds like you need to reinstall the video driver. If you've got a wide screen monitor, the default driver won't match the aspect ratio of the screen and the monitor has to stretch it out to make it fit.

easy fix. for the quick fix, hold ctrl+ scroll up on your mouse.

for the long fix start%26gt;control panel%26gt;appearance and themes%26gt;display%26gt;appearance then change font size in the drop down box.
