I got a ps3 and i have changed the display settings to 1080i, my home screen thing is in 1080i, and blu-ray is in 1080i, but when ever I go to play madden the resolution changes to 480i. How can i play in 1080i resolution?How can I change tthe resolution form 480 to 1080i on my ps3 when i play games?
If you look on the back of the packaging of Madden. The game only supports 480 i/p and 720p. The game does not support 1080i. Does your TV support 720p? I've seen tv's that support 1080i but does not support 720p. So what happens esp. maybe in your case your tv does not support 720p so the setting goes to 480p.How can I change tthe resolution form 480 to 1080i on my ps3 when i play games?

Set it to 720p since maddens highest is HD resolution is 720p.
Then it should stay 720p.
when you turn on your ps3, hold the power button until it beeps.
that automatically sets the video settings to the highest
