I want to bock the display properties option for the user?

In my network, we have 30 users with windows xp pro. i want to bock the display properties option for the user so that he wont be able to change any display settings .

how should i do that

You can do this a number of ways, if you've got 30 users then I assume you have the Windows XP resource kit, you can use it to create a new user account type that is restricted and remove a lot of these options and other things such as access to the control panel.



If you do not have this then you could download The TweakUI powertoy and I believe you can disable the feature from TweakUI (poke around there) Yahoo! search for the Microsoft download for TweakUI please realize that you will need legal copies of windows to run this tool.
If they are not admins- try windows steady state. Lots of options to disable them from doing things.
